How intensity is graded
Two stones can share a hue and look very different. Intensity is the grade that sets the price.
- Fancy Light
- Fancy
- Fancy Intense
- Fancy Vivid
- Fancy Deep
Most buyers order Fancy Intense or Fancy Vivid, which read clearly as colour in a setting. Fancy Light suits soft, bridal pinks. Secondary tones, called overtones, appear in the name, for example "Fancy Vivid Purplish Pink".
Honest about treatment
Lab-grown fancy colours are usually created or intensified after growth. It is normal for the category and the colour is stable, but your customer should know. The grading report records it and our invoice states it, so your own disclosure is simple.

Matched colour parcels
Melee and small stones sorted by hue and intensity so a halo, pavé band or eternity ring reads as one colour.
- Calibrated by size to your setting, with tolerances agreed up front.
- A photo of the whole parcel before it ships.
- Repeat orders matched to your previous parcel.

Pink, yellow, blue and green are available in most shapes and sizes. Purple, orange, red, brown and black are supplied in smaller quantities or to order.
How is fancy colour graded?
By hue and intensity. Intensity runs Fancy Light, Fancy, Fancy Intense, Fancy Vivid and Fancy Deep. Most of our fancy stock is Fancy Intense or Fancy Vivid, and the report states the grade.

Do you supply big fancy colour stones?
Yes. Pink, yellow, blue and green from 3 ct up are regularly available; see our Big Diamonds page or ask for a specific size.
Is there a minimum order?
